Having an ancestral history which is based in another country, often leaves me wondering about my sense of place.

Being black also means I'm often in the minority in certain environments. Which can sometimes be an issue even when it's not meant to be. This piece is a simple statement of where you/we are. I hope it's also an opportunity to reflect and look at yourself. To perhaps see yourself as black.
